Ouffi - Ahhhh I really love that traditional portrait you did! The designs are so lovelyyyyy~

I downloaded some new photoshop brushes to play around with so I decided to draw a quickie of one of my OCs since I haven't drawn him in a while when I found a drawing of the same character done about a year ago!



I obviously still have a very long way to go, but seeing them side by side has been extremely interesting. (He looks more disheveled in the new pic because he is supposed to be lol.)

His shoulder looks weird, the one to the right of the screen. It's interesting to see you style changes though like wow. He looks older and male woahh A+ for variety

Your noses are greatly improved; it doesn't look disjointed and you should be proud. PS conveniently this guy I follow started his own ref blog and it's incredibly iuseful and well sorted. It's got p much everything you'd need and he's even organized it yeahhhh the username is robliefeld. CHECK IT OUT (and the tags photoshop and skin may be particularly useful btw)

@Shonji: Thanks! The pants were stupid, not gonna lie. I was having trouble with that particular area, but I eventually had to take artistic liberties on the area to save time. I didn't notice the proportions being so off though. I'll keep that in mind next time. And thanks! I like doing little things haha. And I agree about your nose improvement! The shapes are very nice.

i really like how soft the shading is and stuff...very atmospheric (even tho that word has already been used)
your style isnt exactly my type, but objectively its really nice!

your style kinda reminds me of my style in a way. i think a lot of people on tumlbr influence each other's art subconsciously through what the popular series are, and the art that gets spread around the community. pretty interesting if you ask me.

Yeah, that's probably true, especially with popular artists in whatever fandom they seem to influence a lot of people. It is pretty interesting :-)

This is already circulating on Tumblr, but I thought I'd share this again anyway.
For real, monster designs are fun.

(Plus, I figure that if this particular character gets traced back to me, I'll have a few more problems than just being truscum. Fo shizzle.)
